New build house added to chalet bungalow in East Bergholt.

This charming Suffolk project involved the construction of a new build house bolted onto the existing chalet bungalow to create a new 120m2 space which comprises of 2 master bedrooms, 2 en-suites, a home office, lounge, WC, boot room and utility room.

The client is an architect so had a strong vision for the project and completed the interior fit-out themselves.

The existing double garage was removed to create space for the new build in a perfect location within the sought after East Bergholt area in Suffolk.
Some of the key external materials used were the green timber sash windows by Langvalda which are complimented by the Forticrete stone heads and sills. Handmade yellow bricks were used as the decorative base for the silicone render external wall finish to rest on.

The roof structure was completed with Spanish slate roof tiles, a fibre glass decorative chimney and Velux skylights.
